Frequently Asked Questions

How does online therapy work?2024-10-01T03:07:02+00:00

As a virtual practice, we offer secure online therapy for individual adults, adolescents, couples, and families living in Texas. Our online therapy services are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform, ensuring your privacy is protected and you can feel safe sharing your thoughts and feelings.

To join a therapy session, we’ll send you a secure link. It works just like any other video-conferencing app, but with added privacy and security. It’s easy to use and ensures your sessions are private and confidential. Due to licensing regulations, clients need to be physically located in Texas at the time of service.

Do you provide in-person therapy?2024-10-01T03:08:48+00:00

We do not provide in-person therapy. As a virtual practice, we ONLY provide secure online therapy for individuals, couples, and families who are residents of Texas.

Payment is required at the time of service. We accept debit and credit card payments.

How often should I/we come for sessions?2024-10-01T03:11:27+00:00

We are flexible and can adjust the frequency of sessions to meet your needs, including starting with fewer sessions if necessary. However, we recommend beginning therapy with weekly sessions to build a strong therapeutic relationship and create momentum toward your goals. As we progress, we can consider shifting to bi-monthly sessions based on your progress and goals. Regular sessions will help you experience more noticeable changes.

You will generally know when you feel ready to conclude therapy. We will regularly discuss your progress and openly communicate about what the end of therapy might look like, ensuring you are an active part of the decision-making process.

Sessions with individuals and couples typically last 50 or 75 minutes.
