ABOUT US

Therapy can be life-changing

Improving your quality of life by helping you make decisions that reflect who you truly are. This transformation requires feeling comfortable with your therapist. You need to like them, feel at ease opening up, and build trust and understanding. This foundation is essential for tackling tough topics.

The therapeutic journey is deeply personal and varies for everyone. When you feel understood by your therapist, it creates a safe, judgment-free space to explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you dive deeper into your experiences and start healing. The therapeutic relationship empowers you to make positive changes and live the life you want.

Finding the right therapist might take some time, but it’s worth it. The right therapist will support, challenge, and help you grow in ways you might not have imagined.

We see therapy as a blank canvas, offering infinite possibilities for personal growth and healing, or the chance to start over.

Approach

I have always had confidence in the potential of people and their own capacity to change. I work with people and families to develop their own power and strength to make the positives transformations that they choose. There are times people need someone to offer a little guidance or perspective. I am honored by the privilege that individuals and families give me let me be in their struggles, often during some of their most difficult and vulnerable moments.

I have been a licensed social worker since 2006 with my early work experience focused on community advocacy, life skills training, school and social support. I became a licensed clinical social Worker in 2009, and a clinical Supervisor in 2012. From 2011 until 2024 I worked for a county agency as an Individual therapist with teens as well as family therapist, and a group facilitator focusing on parenting adolescents. This time has allowed me to gain experience with a wide variety of issues, mental health diagnoses, ages, and family dynamics. I have had a private practice since 2014 , but have recently moved to working only in my own practice to be able to work with a wider variety of clients.

I am trained in a series of methods and theoretical frameworks and continue to developing my knowledge and skills. Some of my experience and training includes cognitive behavior therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), solution focused, strengths based, family systems based, trauma focused and person centered.

My focus is on helping individuals and families heal and repair themselves at their own pace while choosing their personal goals and direction. Life offers up a lot of challenges and overcoming or recovering from those challenges creates a stronger individual and family.

Approach

Are you finding yourself in repeated conflicts with your partner or loved ones? Do you notice that past wounds resurface in the heat of an argument or leave you feeling unseen, insecure, or overwhelmed? Perhaps your relationship with your parents brings up difficult emotions, and old patterns you thought were long buried. I help individuals who are struggling with complex PTSD, attachment wounds, and relationship triggers find a path toward healing and self-compassion.

Together, we will explore how your past is showing up in your present, uncover the root causes of emotional pain, and work to create healthier relationships.

With warmth and care, I guide clients through understanding and processing their emotions, supporting them as they develop tools for emotional regulation, set healthier boundaries, and navigate the complex dynamics that arise in their closest relationships.

Whether you are feeling dysregulated, unsure how to respond in moments of conflict, or burdened by unresolved childhood wounds, I’m here to support you in finding peace and confidence in yourself and your relationships. If you’re ready to explore how the past has shaped you and start a journey toward lasting healing, let’s connect.
